First off in order to get missions, you must have completed the previous. ie to get 3 you should have beat 2. Any group member can get the mission.
Kelliad - Stoneroot falls 705, -1856
For missions Kelliad will send you to: Meldrek in Stoneroot falls -330, -1750. He is SSW of Kelliad's position along the bank.
Task 1 A Rogue's Trust- Kill 25 Dracnids, loot 4 hearts
- Hail Meldraka, /say I am ready and you will be ported to an instanced Stoneroot.
- Cut and dry task. Kill 25 Drachnids in the spider city. They are mezzable, don't hit hard, snareable, don't summon and DO respawn.
- While killing Drachnids loot 4 of their hearts, almost every one drops them.
- Return the 4 hearts to Kelliad and mission ends.
** Decent Robe drops from random trash.
Melee Reward - Mask AC 12, STR 11, DEX 5, STA 5, AGI 5, HP 100, END 90, SVD/SVP 20
Tast 2 Scouting the City Kill 25 Drachnids and named.
- Pretty easy task. Go to the drachnid city and levitate over the wall at the south end. Set up camp here and start pulling. Basic mobs but they respawn fairly fast.
- Random see invis here so /con.
- Once you kill 25 walk towards the bigger building on the left to update task. In this building the named will spawn on the top level.
- Clear trash for your group and move them in. About 4-5 mobs total inside.
- The named conned even to 70 and isn't a terrible hitter. He gets weaker every 20pct of life he looses. I had a warrior but I feel he is knight tankable easy.
- Loot the tome off the named and turn in to Kelliad.
Melee Reward - Neck AC 12, DEX 5, STA 5, AGI 5, HP 90, END 80, SVF/SVC/SVM 15
Task 3 Building the Disguise - Long missoin with kills/collect.
- Start off at Meldrak and kill 10 Witherans.
- Loot 4 Witheran meat while killing (common drop)
- Move to drachnid city and kill 25 'a drachnid'.
- Loot 4 skins from 'a drachnid'.
- Kill 10 'a drachnid silkweaver'.
- Loot 4 silks from 'a drachnid silkweaver'.
- Named spawns on ramp in east part of city, engage and kill named and loot his head.
* Named is reportedly unslowable, has an AE G-Flux (get lev on) and gets tougher as his HP go lower. Reported hits of 3-4k after he passes 40pct health. Best to use a warrior and go defensive / full burn at 40pct health.
Melee Reward -
Task 4 The Search for Illsuras
- Do not be in any illusion form when entering this instance, bugs have been reported.
- Zone in via the zone line on the ramp in the city (You killed the named in that spot on the last mission).
- When you zone in you will be in drachnid form. Lev up because you'll be swimming. Mobs WILL CON KOS, but you will not get aggro yet.
- Move forward and you will see "insert proper name here" named drachnid. Hail him and he will begin escorting you to the commander, stick on him because you can't stop him and he moves semi-fast.
- Once in the commander room, you are revealed for who you are and attacked by the commander and another mob. Kill commander first, mez/OT the other mob, then kill it.
- You are now in the commander room and un-masked, time to kill. Clear trash for your group. There is a hallway out to the left that runs in a semi-circle around to a pool, thats where your headed. Lots of 2-3 pulls so split/cc accordingly. Mobs dont respawn here.
- Once your at the pool park your group, unless they just like fighting underwater. Jump in the pool and swim straight, you will see a door to your left, ignore it for now. You will come to a big water tank filled with drachnids, clear them or just enough to move safely along the right side to the back wall.
- Once cleared invis/sneak to the back wall of this tank and float down, you will see a grey/white colored Obelisk. PREPARE YOUR GROUP for they will be rushed by 2-4 drachnids when you click this. Once you click go back to group and clear the mobs that rushed you.
- Now jump in that same pool and the above mentioned door you saw on your left is now open, I got by with pulling one mob from this area, a roaming drachnid. You will see him roaming straight and to your right. To your right is another closed door, ignore it for now and swim straight in to a pool that opens up to the jail room.
- In the jail room there are about 4-5 static mobs and 1 roamer. He roams the whole room so use pathing accordingly to get by him. You will see two jail cells on the left and one on the right. In the right is a chest, but the door is closed, shrink two times and go in to click the chest. This opens the door you just passed to get to the jail room.
- Invis/sneak back to the group and move them with you, this time go through that door you just opened, forward till you get to a small land area.
- Up a bit is a pool on your right with two doors, the closet to you is where your headed. Pull one mob from the land area and clear the mobs in the pool.
- Leave the group on the land area and go in to the chamber through the door closest to you. You will see Isslain (sp) standing before a named drachnid, move slowly towards him to update your task. The named drachnid kills Isslain followed by some scripting. At this point the named leaves and two Protectors become active, they do not auto pull.
- Split/cc them and kill them. Weak mobs with BOT dps. A chest spawns and you loot a dagger to turn in to Kelliad.
- You will see some orbs on the land area, click the middle one and you will trigger portal stones that will take you out of the instance.
Melee Reward - Shoulders AC 13, STR 12, DEX 6, STA 6, HP 130, END 110, SVD/SVP 25
Task 5 The Rage of Kelliad- Tell Meldrak 'I am ready"
- You are ported to an instance, standing on a small land bank with a pool in front of you. There are two doors in the pool, the left one is open and where you will go. Leave group on land for now.
- Swim in to the tunnel and pull drachnids, every one has come single for me, but do not bring two. These mobs can put out some good DPS and have tons of HP, so split them. Not confirmed if mezzable because I brought singles.
- You are going to kill 7 of them in all. I pulled 4 to the group then moved the group in. At the end of the water tunnel is a land area that is semi circled, with the Prince in the middle. He WILL prox you so be wary of that when pulling. Park group on either side of water once you clear drachnids.
- Once you kill 7 of them there are no more, only the prince. Slowly walk to the front of him to update task and a script will come.
- MED FULL at this point, for next is the prince. This script is odd, post your strats/findings. Pull him and engage. His DPS output is slow at first but will grow, and he has a TON of HP's.
- During the fight you will see a lot of emotes, most are just spam. Pay attention though because he will focus on someone new and the tank needs to snap aggro him back. (this has been tanked with me there by a warrior and knight, both Qvic geared, but dont let cleric slack)
- During the fight adds have spawned, but they do nothing, they are still and do not aggro, leave them alone.
- Now the fun part, Prince drops aggro and returns to spawn at a random time. I say random because he's done it to me at 20pct and 70pct. Have yet to determine exact cause of this. We moved and engaged him on spawn point last night after the first de-aggroand he AGAIN de-aggroed at 20 pct. Big sigh and a call for med up, but we were too close and he aggroed the beast, so we took him down fully.
- Chest spawns and you loot to turn in, done deal. This is a simple mission just high HP mobs and the Prince, bring a good tank/cleric and fill rest with DPS/slow, CC is not needed with a good puller.
Melee Reward - Mask AC 12, STR 11, DEX 5, STA 5, AGI 5, HP 130, END 120 SVF/SVC/SVM 15
