Dear Players, Partners and Friends,

Today, we are pleased to announce that we have been acquired by Columbus Nova, an investment management firm well known for its success with its existing portfolio of technology, media and entertainment focused companies. This means that effective immediately SOE will operate as an independent game development studio where we will continue to focus on creating exceptional online games for players around the world, and now as a multi-platform gaming company. Yes, that means PlayStation and Xbox, mobile and more!

As part of this transition, SOE will now become Daybreak Game Company. This name embodies who we are as an organization, and is a nod to the passion and dedication of our employees and players. It is also representative of our vision to approach each new day as an opportunity to move gaming forward.

So what exactly does this mean for you? It will be business as usual and all SOE games will continue on their current path of development and operation. In fact, we expect to have even more resources available to us as a result of this acquisition. It also means new exciting developments for our existing IP and games as we can now fully embrace the multi-platform world we are living in.

Our games and players are the heart and soul of our organization, and we are committed to maintaining our portfolio of online games and pushing the limits of where we can take online gaming together.

Thank you for your continued support. See you in game!

Complete and utter Hard Drive Go BOOOOOOOM!!!!! problem.

Fatal got us up and running asap again.

thanks Fatal.

now to..News.

I've gotten into the Initial Beta Wave for WoW's Expansion. testing out shaman and monk and druid and hunter.....

so far i am not liking what they did to Shaman so much- at least initially(i've only played about 20 minutes so far, it's like i have to learn the class over 100% again-WHICH SUCKS WIND!!! i am liking the new Character models they are looking great, no "new model's suck" like SoE did with everquest years and years ago.-i laugh at the new damage numbers it's funny the numbers are SO LOW compared to MoP.....

in Normal WoW, Brenda (wife) and i are casually raiding Siege of Ogrimmar with friends in a different guild- Honored Horsemen- we raid with them every friday and saturday and progress since we go with their alt crew, so progress is sloooow, we vary from flex to normal depending on attendence- yes they are a raiding guild, just more relaxed about it- and the people in the guild are great (they've been trying to get us to join their guild for like 5+ years-we're members without actually being in their guild-ie we are the first one's they ask if we are on and they need someone else for their normal crew-they need dps more than heals so i go after brenda usually) i am in the process of doing the legendary cloak quest,,,,again... for my Monk, druid AND hunter. my shaman has both the DPS legendary and the Healing Legendary (can just buy the cloak again after you have finished the quest) we still have a blast playing the game, and that is the important part. having FUN

as to EQ Next...i forgot my station name and password.....so i never got around to applying for beta.

my kids are growing, my oldest son...has a Girlfriend (he is almost 13 now)...and we (brenda and I) are having so much fun...Teasing Him...

have a Safe 4th of July...

Look up You May See Stars Tonite
