Oh the difference between the DELL XPS notebooks and Alienware is build quality and components.
If youve ever seen an XPS notebook you'll know what I mean. They're very cheap.

So before Dell bought Alienware, the price point was acceptable, but after Dell bought Alienware the price point is no longer acceptable? I thought Alienware was still offering the same bleeding edge systems that they were always offering, it's just that now they have a larger backing behind them.

Not really the point to game on the included display. You'd want to have external Monitor(s) for that. The idea is a system powerful enough to be a desktop replacement in an actually portable form factor.
Basically the exact system I've been waiting for as an eventual upgrade for the old ladies laptop. Edit: finished the review, the reflective screen sucks :p |
