Where'd everyone go?

Been months since we've had any activity here. Even though I stopped playing EQ decades ago... I've still stopped by here from time to time. We used to keep the OOC forum going with a few new posts every week or so... then everyone vanished.

Also comeback to EQ on the new progression servers, I'm having a good time. Just have to avoid the toxic locals and DGB forums.

Lots of people have maxed out all XP, AA's etc so other than raiding there is not a lot going on.

There needs to be a goal to pursue for the group player otherwise its gets dull and very soon no one is logging in.

That's why I've not played more than 10 minutes in the last 6 weeks.

I've been grinding achievements to kill time. Finished Hero's Journey and almost done with Slayer. Definitely not exciting but something to work on. That or I work on alts here and there but it's hard for me to focus on them long term.

Mostly I've been playing some PS4 (Destiny, Witcher 3, Batman Arkham Knight) and PC World of Warships and Kerbal Space Program. Bit of modded Minecraft on PC as well.

You can max out AA's now? Back when I played that seemed like an impossible thing, that was some time ago tho.

Got nostalgic after hearing the news of Brad's passing. It was nice to see the forum still going, although it does seem quiet these days.
