    Default Shared Bank?

Just logged in a couple days ago and saw "Shared Bank" slots in my bank...quite simply, what's this for?

Yep yep, whatever you put in those 2 slots on one character is viewable/removable/can be added to by any other toon on your account, even if you make a new one.

Can't put any NODROP items in there (no pharming Planar Gear for your lv1 Rogue twink!! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/tongue.gif ALT=":p"> ) and you need to be careful with LORE items, I think it just stops you taking a LORE item out of the shared bank if you have it already, like when you try and get traded/loot a second one.

NO RENT items dont work either. So you cant make a mage to summon bandages for you and put them in the slot. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":">

and technically, its not "on the same account"... its "on the same account on the same server".

little brother in law tried to give items from a character on stromm to a character on druzzil ro and was mystified that it didnt work between servers.

You don't want to copy it anywhere if you want to use the default xml file....

All you have to do is delete the custom bank xml and it UI will automatically use the default. That goes for any xml file. If it's not in your custom UI directory, EQ will use the default xml file.

    EDIT:

The bank xml file is EQUI_BigBankWnd.xml

You can also go www.eqinterface.com/ here to find xml mods and information.

I still can't use the shared bank option..

Because I use another UI profile, wich got xml files not making use of the feature..

What XML files do I need to copy from the default profile to my profile to make use of the Shared bank feature?

    Thanks alot,

I will have to clear my current profile then, since it's a copied version of the default profile with only some areas altered.

I guess I can only leave those altered areas in the profile then..

    Thanks again!
