No thrown item has more range than the Shuriken of Eternity (from Ton Po's pouch) -- but for stat increases the stoneroot starfish (zonewide rare, Stoneroot falls, solo) or pouch of curses (zonewide rare, Dreadspire Keep, solo) or the Guardian's Pouch (Jotik the Guardian, Valdeholm near the Arena, group mob) are all viable.

Personally, I use the CoA robe almost all the time, and only occasionally click the Guardian Pouch when I need to do something different (be around a corner when the hit lands, or use Echo and wake a mezzed mob).

Who cares about hp's or any of the stats?

You can buy a MUCH better range item in the baz and just make a hotkey to Bandolier to throw and Bandolier back to the better range item all in one key. I dont have it memorized, but it's something like this.

Line 1: /pause 5,/band throw
Line 2: /pause 35,/autofire
Line 3: /band dualwield

So with these three lines you will throw ~ three times at your target and use a much better range item ALL the time. The first half second pause is for lag - I've never had it mess up. You adjust the second pause for how many times you want to throw. I only use shurikens when I'm breaking a mez and I've found three throws almost always gets the job done probably 95% of the time.

Personally I just have the first 3 lines in my ranger attack command. You want 2 of them so that you turn it on and off. I change back to my normal set up in my incoming message. I only use pause 5 because I don't want to waste ammo. If you want more feel free to increase it.

Yes, you're right, I was going by memory. I was mostly carrying the Guardian pouch around because it summoned 100 a click from the start when Ton Po was still doing 20. :/

Commenting on the bandolier pause that you entered. I actually added a little more time for autofire to go. I prefer to throw 2 or 3 stones as never fail I miss and fail to break my own mez....

Well /pause 35 gives me 3-4 Shuriken throws. Of course the pause you use and how many throws you want depends on the delay of hte item, which is why one needs to experiment.

I just found out the hard way that items in the ammo slot do NOT add any stats. Never was aware of that and didnt see any hint in this thread.

After camping Jotik for 15 hours with only 3 Jotik spawns and 2 crap drops I am now ... well ... disappointed. Not getting the 195hp/185end/22AC from the guardian blade in ammo slot. Same item in ranged slot does add the stats, but of course there is way better items for range as stated above.
