Why on Earth are your windows so big? Also there shouldn't be a need for a seperate window just for criticals...nor one that big.

Because he sets his resolution at 1280 or higher, and can afford to have windows that big, and still be able to see what's going on behind them? =)

Aye, I run in 1600x1200, If I dont do something thats a WHOLE LOT of unused screen Real Estate....

Makes it VERY nice to split chat into many different windows..

my ghetto ass monitor will not let me play that large or i would i ahte playing in 1280X1024 seems so BIG in the windows, i hate it

Maybe its just me but I like chat in as few seperate boxes as possible. After splitting group/channel chat into a seperate box I found myself not paying attention to one or the other. I got used to it for the most part now but it still seems like a bit more trouble than keeping it all in 1 window. I couldnt imagine haveing that many different text boxes though.



I have a question though...What does vert mean? Ive seen a few different UIs with Vert in the name and still cant figure out what it means heh...I would think it means vertical but I dont see anything vertical about any of em.

He's a guildy and he created Vert UI. Him and another rogue in my guild have been tinkering with a UI for a bit now.

Even if I ran at a resolution that big (run in 1280) I still wouldn't use such huge chat windows. I don't need that much information on my screen at one time. Of course you can use whatever the hell you want =) Just saying in my opinion looks cluttered and obtrusive.

hehe /nod , What you really cant see in that pic is the chat colors, the top one which I use on my monk has vast different colors for chat windows, making text easily discernible for me at least, but aye some think less is more... /shrug I like all that info on my screen at one time, for me it rocks, for others it may not.. However I want to point out that the chat windows have nothing to do with my mod files.. All that are included are the data boxes.. Player/Buff/Group/Inven/Friend/etc etc... Chat you still have to config for yourself.. (For those who may not realize this.. Most probably will know this, I just wanted to clarify for anyone who isn't up to stuff so to speak on the mods.."



Oh and Yes, Vetrebrae came up with this original UI and did a FANTASTIC Job, I've just tailored it for my usage... Im so glad he started this UI, I HATED the old Health/Mana/Stamina/Exp bar's.. They were WAY to small for my tastes...This one is NICE and visible... "Kudos to you Vert!"

its nice but I like the pet screen to be quick change inventory, and when I get mine customized insta clicky inventory.

To the right of the my 10 hotkeys, is a bank of 8 buttons/clickies, they are fairly easy to program... If you wanted thatone (Its Vert's) Just drop me an Email with what you want in it and I'll modify it for ya..
