if anyone needs ideas, ask away....
I am a graduate of Western Culinary Institute a Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in portland,OR... and I am currently a chef working for Sodexho at the University of Idaho...
More than happy to help with enternaining menus etc, ask away.

I'm always interested in something that's quick and easy or something that I can make in mass quantity and freeze. I made some soup yesterday to bring to work for lunch and it should last me a couple weeks.
I know that it's not specific...

seriously as gamers-- we don't do much fancy stuff
other than that heh heh some of us cook as a hobby (me) others are chef's etc.. we just game alot...
now if i could make a good turkey gravy my last batch was a bit thick (not lumpy- thick)

Do you start with a roux? Try using less, or cooking it longer before you add the rest of the liquids.

ok i gota question for ya...
Tyson's Chiken Strips Frozen
and im wanting to make fried chiken, have a deep fry but is to big *one that can fit a big turkey in* so what would i go about frying this stuff in...
i put flour some chiken spice and a lil bit of salt for taste in a ziplock bag...
defrost the chiken on overtime in a bowl and run hot water on it while preping the seasoning....
and all i need to know is..
what the heck do i cook it in.... lol im sure i could use the turkey fryer but dont want to waste something that can be used for the better end...anyone got a suggestion and it wont burn my house down... :oops:

a frying pan would be fine for chicken strips. my grandmother made regular fried chicken in just her frying pan. Southern grandmas = the win.

ya use either a ~6-8qt sauce pan or a high side frying pan...
both work.

Yeah do you know how to make a good beef stew? Preferably without alot of tomatos and peas.
