View Full Version : How to make the PoM run in
The reason I am writing this guide is that I was somewhat shocked to find out that some servers havn't gotton to PoM yet (and not because they're not trying). I personally made the run to PoM on my third try and have since made the run without failing six times. On to the guide:
What you need:
1. a rez stick
2. a coh mage allied with CoV corpse
3. insta-invis potions
4. divine aura idol (from highpass)
5. druid and cleric camped outside ToV
6. fresh corpse of yours outside ToV
7. Necro to SC inside ToV
8. shaman inside or outside ToV
9. A fungi.
Order of events:
1. Die outside ToV (not from a duel, need a 3 hour corpse)
2. Get corpse dragged to ToV entrance.
3. Get rezed, loot corpse but not all of it.
4. Have mage die (again, not from a duel) in ToV, get rezed, leave something on corpse and go passed door that leads to north wing with his corpse. Make sure he is grouped with someone at ToV entrance.
5. Get cleric buffs (resist P/D/C/F/M, Aego), Shaman buffs (Focus, Acumen, agi buff, dex buff), Druid buffs (regrowth, sow) and zone in.
6. Get invited to mage's group, get invis and FD - then get CoHed by mage to door that leads to ToV North wing.
7. run up to the two drakes that see invis behind Aaryonar (see picture)

8. get up, stone stance, run through them and turn right after you clime up the stairs, FD near the fire pot. Wait for spells to hit you before you FD.
http://www.knightsofthecreed.com/pom/run04.jpg
9. heal up, wait for the area to be clear of wanderers and start FD flopping your way up. Stay at the left side of the cliff.
10. If you've made it passed the fire pot you're over the dificult part. This may take a few attempts depending how skilled you are/how good your connection is. If you die, simply get your corpse outside ToV rezed, get buffed, zone in, get corpse summoned, loot it (don't get a rez or you'll have to get rezed again outside pom for sow and buffs) and go again.
11. When you get to the area in the beginning of the tunnel with two black drakes facing each other their is a little neat trick that few people know about. This is the area most people get stuck in - but it's easy to get thru. FD at a reasonable distance from them, wait for all wanderers to be gone, get up, use insta invis potion and FD right away. Now, wait for wanderers to be gone and simply run thru the black drakes. They do not see invis. You will get tons of stuff after you but they should be a good distance away for you to get passed the black (Harm touching) drakes and FD.
Now you're home free. Get up, run a bit, use idol, turn right, go to back of wall behind tiny castle and FD. idol should last enough time. you can always use voidance if it doesn't.
You can do without many of the stuff I listed - but this is really the easiest and fastest way. Getting someone to train away before you make the run helps but I found it more trouble than it's worth as it is quite easy anyways.
One last thing DO NOT FORGET THE MAGE'S CORPSE.
Oh and you should also have him log out while you drag his corpse so rez timer doesn't move.

Wow...
You can rez the wrong corpse when you die? That's an interesting exploit.

Step 10, where if you die you rez the corpse that was already rezzed in step 3. Or am I missing something?

All corpses can be rezzed any number of times within the three hour limit. Only the first rez counts with regaining experience. (Example: You get a level 29 rez, 0% exp. Two hours and 59 minutes later you get an epic rez, normally 96% exp but now it's 0% since you get the level 29 rez before-hand.)
This NOT an exploit.

Then you /q out to clear aggro. Log back in, use the Res Staff you are carrying to Res the mage, and then Mage starts to CotH stuff to POM zone in.

Mage cannot log or he/she won't be grouped properly to do CoH.

Mage can camp. After the res monk linvites him to group then gets a res back outside then zones in and starts inviting for the CotH.

Ice Dragons, IE Lady Vox and Gorenaire, can drop an item called Staff of Forbidden Rites, comes with 10 charges of level 49 cleric res and the effect can be cast from inv spot so the class restrictions on the item are meaningless (don't have to equip it to use it) Every monk should endeavor to have one for we are quite often the last remaining chars in alternate planes (hate, fear, air)
Hope that answers your questions, next please

great guide, was trying to get the guild interested in this a couple of weeks ago, they mostly think it can't be done, I'll be very happy to prove them wrong.
I know the goo in DN also drops a one shot rescusitate (50% xp) item, and of course, the staff of forbidden rites from vox, but are there any other items that can res?
Is it safe by the zone into PoM for coh? I heard there was a wurm nearby now.
And what should I expect to pay for a vox staff?

This site explains the run well:

Also, the 2 'black drakes' in step 11 are not always black and often see invis.
