This is not typical of me but I am very disappointed in the way VI has handled this situation and what they have done to monks. I spoke with a /anon tech support guy last night and we were talking about how Verant screwed monks up royaly so I told him I was starting a petition on Ezboard.com.

So its like this if you DISAGREE with the most recent changes VI has made to Monks and you DO NOT agree with the way they are handling it please post your Monk toons name and server.

Also... IF IF IF you really don't want us to tank, then PLEASE up our OFFENSE with a aggro avoidance inherent damage.

This was a bad change. It was unneeded, and didn't do what it was supposed to anyway. Didn't see monks tanking instead of plate classes before, still don't.

Verant will not change their position. There are too many monks in EQ and not enough Warriors, Paladins, SKs, Rangers.

After we have switched to other classes and there is a balance of classes, they will return monk ability to tank.

I will also sign this petition.

I'm very displeased with how monks with lesser gear got completely screwed with this change, while it to a far less extent affects monks with very good gear. Completly messed up.
