Ring of construct ??

Does anyone know where in KC this dam thing is. On the WF guide on this website...if I goto the loc it seems to be inside a wall in RCY. However, if you go up on the ledge of the wall you can look down some holes and see in. I just dont know how to get in.





Anyone that has experience with the layout of KC or got the dam grayed tome and had to find the Ring of construct...please respond <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">





ps looked on EQAtlas.com and did not see it listed where it is...I did find some dagger near warlord room that I dont know what it is :P

Yeah, finding this one cost myself and my friend a death or two =( Jump down into the well off LCY, then work your way through the basement. I can't give you exact directions with all the turns down there, but use a basement map and your locs.



You will find it when you climb a set of stairs in the basement, and turn around to see a ledge/nook above the stairs you just climbed, with the ground spawn ring on that ledge.

If you go to the right side of the moat, along the side, as far as you can go, there is an entrance to the sewers. Once inside, turn around and go back the direction you came from, but go up (may need levitate). Turn right and follow the tunnel. Up stairs, thru a door, more stairs, turn around and there it is beneath a hand <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">

The ring is for the final shackle in the Iksar shackle quests. The map posted above is good, but don't enter the basement at the spiral staircase. As someone above said, you can get where you need to go through the moat entrance on the north side of KC. You'll only aggro a couple mobs that way and even if you can't kill them you should be able to sprint to the spot you need.

I actually entered the moat area from the right bank it is just a short swim in (especailly for an Iksar) and then I followed map into the room.. I too was stumped with this part till I figured out what the heck was going on...
