Targin > Raster now?

I've been working on the Robe of the Lost Circle quest again and only have Targin left to do now. It seems they have tweaked his spawn since the last time I did this. He spawned on top of the chair this time. Also, about 12 seconds after he spawned, he despawned. 30minutes later another PH spawned and then despawned. One last odd happening, a greater kobold was casting shammy spells. Thought that was a bit odd. I'm nearing the 40 hour mark for a mob that is considdered "uncommon" and beginning to get discouraged. Has anyone else done Targin lately that can confirm if I'm just insane or he really is alot more rare?

Well if you were on Quellious Server i got the Code of Zan fi in the bank atm been there for while now, got bored and killed him while waiting on peeps for a sol c grp.

Seriously no offense but I wouldn't bother camping Raster and Targin. Qwinn spawns like once a day now and although the robe is rare, it's a lot easier to kill Qwinn time wise 5-6 times to get the robe (even though I killed him 8 times and got none). Much more sane to get it that way than go through the process of camping the individual parts. Killed Zephyl 3 times and got it from him myself. Hell camping Zephyl is a pain in the ass itself. Once you get the pieces you could spend 5-10 hours just camping Zephyl.

took me 4 hours to get targin........251 hours to get raster........i hit the 200 hour mark on raster and started playing my cleric who was 31 at that time.....i sold all on the monk i didnt want to keep, built up the cleric, and with the money the cleric made i build up my monk again.....raster = rarest if you move the letters around.....my main problem right now is getting people to help with my chardok pipe.

ohhh yeah if you get your ornate gloves they have a similer effect to what the epic does.

I spent a few hours PL'ing my Shaman in Sol A with my Druid, and got Targin twice in the space of about 3 hours. If you're on AB, I have 2 Codex of Zan Fi available to MQ....

Had a bud sit there for 12 hours, went to help kill his boredom.



2-3 hours later, no spawn and bud was ready to leave.



I said "Murphys Law, as soon as you leave he will spawn"



He says "afk for a bit"



He comes back and we talk him into another spawn.



Pop Targin.



You are monk, you can slow your mind and body into a comotous state, you'd think a monk would have patience.

I was in PoK when a couple guild members asked me if I needed Targin... I did...



They were PLing another guildie Pally in SolB... I got in, Targin ran past me, then died... I saw Targin for about ten seconds, got my piece, and didn't camp Targin for a second. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT=";)">

Can't remember exact times. But raster was around 28 hours and tragin took around 30 hours.



The first time I saw him spawn. I had to keel that dang sk that stands in the tunnel leading to king room. By the time I got him, targin had despawned. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=":("> It would be another 25 hours before I found targin again.

I feel bad. I was wandering around with 5 other monks after a naggy raid, when we decided to check out targin. He was up. We killed him. I rolled a 43. I won.

I got my RotLC but haven't started RoWF yet. Raster took the longest. Had a guildie that was messin around and seen him up. Sent a /gu asking if anyone needed him so he killed him for me and MQ it.



Targin took about same amount of time. I never really camped him. I would zone in with my 65 druid and check track till I finally seen him up.

Does Targin have a spawn/despawn cycle?

I ran down to Sol B on Sol Ro last night, and just running through saw that Targin was up. High hopes! Well, I had to back down the hall way again and single pull the hallway/room. When I got around the corner again, Targin was gone, and there was a dingo standing there. This made me a little mad, but wondered if he had a cycle like Raster did, or if I screwed something up.

Targin popped for me (Standing to the left of the throne as you look into the King room) on about the third day of killing in Solb, total camp time about 8 hours.



I dropped the item in the bank, and headed for Guk. Cleared the room on arrival, ran off to get an EE bag for a friend, came back to the raster camp and he popped on the next cycle.



So yes, I would say Targin > Raster. But then I think this isn't the norm.
