how and wher do you instal the UI when i download it

hi i tray download a Ui i want on my computer for melees but i am not sure what to do after that i download it instaler in in the everquest folder then i stard eq up but i stil hafe my old Ui what am i doing wrong here can anyone pls help me out

Start by going into your EQ directory, then going to the UIfiles folder. Now make a copy of your default directory. Rename the copy something short, and easy to remember, melee for instance. Unzip the UI file you downloaded to the new UI folder that you made, NOT your default folder. Log into EQ. When everything loads up and your playing your character, type /loadskin (insert name of new UI file you created here). If the UI has been updated for the Aug 14 patch, your good to go.

When you download a UI, chances likely there's a "Readme.txt" file included with the download that has instructions for that installation.

You can also go into your everquest folder and find the file UI_(Your Character name)_(server number) for Instance UI_Radil_83 and Set UISkin to the name of the skin
