VI isnt the Problem its Monk's

Yes, you read it right, Why is VI the Problem in not responding to our /petitions and questions? When our Own Leadership and the Uber Monks arent interested in bringing our issues to the table. I have spoken to the most powerfull Monks on any server and they have said plan and simple the Mitigation change didnt effect them much.

And as long as they dont feel the pain they arent gonna start a petition to bring our issues to the fore. Dont you think if the Uber monks felt the pain like we did that there would be a Sticky with over 1k Signatures on it by now. Plain and simple Uber monks can keep there DPS above Rangers /Warriors with top end gear and with 5k hpts and 1500 AC unbuffed they dont feel a 10-15 % increase in real damage when they buff pass 7k hpts. While the rest of us monks watch Warriors and Rangers in uber gear surpass our Melle damage and add to the fact we have lost a good bit of tanking power ( speaking of Zones 50+ not SolB). What role does the avg monk have now ? Rogues can stay off a hate list easier and do more dmg Rangers can Buff insane attk ratings/Heal/Sow/Root/Snare/Add proc to weapons/Thorn's.

While Paladin's can Buff hpts play a cleric in a LOTT of situtations Hell they can even res! Shadow Knights can FD pull just as good as any monk and with new mitigation change id say better, they have Attk buffs/Pets/Snare/Lifetap and if the crap realy hits the Fan they can do a nice HT.

Am i advocating a Nerf for the affore mentioned class's ? NO! Im simply sayying IF VI doesnt want us tanking then relook at our AA's take another Look at our Damage out put ACROSS the board!

And for our Monkly leadership, i have been greatly dissapointed in the lack of support for ALL your Brothers who have been there for you when a Issue you held dear came to Attention of us all and we supported your rants<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=":("> Now im sure i will catch hell for this and be banned from board or have this post removed, But im calling it as i see it.

Uber monks are unaffected by this nerf.



Most other classes think this nerf was a good thing, and a long time coming.



In short, we don't have across-the-board support. And for this reason I do not believe that the nerf will be reversed.



I'm not an uber monk and this nerf has hit my play style hard. A play style that I had been accustomed to for over THREE years was suddenly taken away because Sony gave high end monks over-powering gear. *boggle* I play this game for fun. Sony just killed that fun.



I have, reluctantly, stripped down by level 60 monk and created a shadow knight. I'll see if I can re-capture some of that fun I used to have. If I don't, then it's bye bye Sony - I won't be buying any more of their games.

I did that with my necro back in the day when necro's turned out to be shit post 50. Decided to not do that again with my monk and simply quit EQ.

I guess you got me wrong Damu, sorry. I care a lot about all the nerfs and I think Qyai made a good post, and I have a lot of respect that he took the risk to get banned for posting his feelings.



But I dont care if someone has nothing else to offer than "make some paragraphs than I might read it". Because its really not the problem if there are a few paragraphs or not, the problem is that SONY ignore and screws us. And maybe the mods and some ubers are not as much with their brothers and sisters as we would wish.

When Rich said Monks Compfortably hold 2nd place in Toe to Toe damage i nealry cried, Everyone knows thats BS. Hes comparing the 1% of Top Monks AGAIN to all melle class's. You compare the other 99% od monks and you will see Rangers easily touch or DPS and Warriors who TANK and have reposte AA's and 16/19 1 handers WILl surpass my Melle!
