Still cant log in....Dang

Here is my situation...





Presently, my default UI works with any of my characters that didnt use this UIModAfter patch, however with my Main Char, the one who used Geist mod before, i get to character screen, and then it boots me back out to login screen.



Here is what i have done about it....



1- Turned EQ client UI = False...no luck

2- changed UI_MYCHAR.INI file back to NEWUI=default..no luck

3- Keeping the original MOD folder, i replaced all of the 6 or 7 files that it said to on Everquestlive.com -- the files called like....EQUI.ini..EQUI_Animation.ini, EQUI_BazaarWindow.ini,,,etc...no luck



4- not sure, hope someone can help, it sounds like im just missing a small step.

Go to your /everquest/uifiles directory. Delete every folder in there (including default) and repatch EQ again. You will download the missing files and it should work.

Ok, I deleted all files and folders in UIFILES folders, including the DEfault one, and i still cant log in with my main character. I did download all the new default files, but still no luck.



I cant think of any more options, except maybe petitioning, and who knows how long that will take..

Same thing is happening to one of my alts and I never even modified the UI for him. I've petitioned for two days now with no response. Reported it as a bug too.

You try deleting your Main's UI INI file? this will delete stuff you've done, but it would be something to do.

Anywho you try all the standard stuff? Uninstall EQ, reinstall,

Then try again



If that doesn't work Check the INI file should look like

open that and type NEWUI=FALSE



if you can't find the file send em a tell will write down the path.
