N00b new UI question here

I've put the chat box in the bottom center of the screen (like most everyone else). I do not seem to be able to loot thru the box (like you could do with the old UI). So I have to keep an open area at the bottom and turn a bit to loot. Not difficult, just annoying.



Anyone else have this problem, or am I doing something wrong?

I hate the idea of viewport. I want my viewing area to take up the whole screen, I'd much rather use transparent menus.

I did the /viewport option. If I set the edge above the chat box, I was not happy with the appearence. So I set the edge about middle of the chat box and kept a small area open next to it.



I was really hoping someone was going to call me a n00b and give me the option to select for the transparency to stick. I would much prefer some of the boxes to stay transparant even when active than be able to adjust how quickly they change from transparent to not.

for the semi transparent all the time



set normal to 50%

fade to 50%



it will never change now as you move over it with your curser.
