Our guild is fixin to make our sleeper tomb key turnin in a couple weeks



I noticed that Jaled Dar is on CoV faction... so after killing all these 1st Brood Dragons our CoV faction is shot to hell... so everyoone will be KoS?



Does this mean we will have to farm Kael again to get on the better side of CoV faction ? What faction will be required to make turnin?

I think he despawns after turning in the item for the key so you might wanna start doing turn ins ASAP.

Wrong.



Both my friend and I turned our keys one after the other. Didn't despawn.

Don't know about the illusion thing, we had to use an AON to get a halfling high enough to reach him.



But we have had multiple people do handins before and no despawn.

He definitely has a faction. I had a friend that was KOS to him and needed help to get it turned in. I wasn't with him when he got his key, so I don't know how he managed it, though. I don't think it was double invis, since I'm fairly sure JD sees invis. He was bitching for weeks in /gu about it.



IIRC, it was killing that roaming red dragon in WW with the odd faction that did it. Malefen? The one that used to drop COFs and respawn in an hour. This was years ago -- Vellious era. Might have changed since then. It might be "disciples of kerafyrm". I seem to recall noticing that killing in revamped ST post-wakeup resulted in tanking the faction you need to get an ST key.



He doesn't despawn. You need a rogue with max picklock and any +PL% item to open the door or you need the key (made from drops from zlandicar and/or named rat). Small races will need a large race illusion to climb the steps. Be SURE the person doing the hand-in can hail and have JD respond to the hail. It is possible to hand-in and receive nothing at all if you're small race and overly clever about your positioning and yet not on the top of the platform.

The faction hit I took when killing him was "old disciples of kerafym." Of course this was after Luclin was released.

Shaman 'Grow' spells work best on short races, and no, there is no despawn after a hand in.
