Ssra Taskmasters

I've been having a rough time getting my pouch from the Taskmasters, mainly becaue my guild always seems to be in Com1/Com2.



Do you think I could duo them with a 65 druid/63 monk? What are their spawn times? Thanks!

At least 2 of them are unslowable. Of those 2, 1 Flurries and 1 Rampages. Also, some are casters and will try to gate. If the Druid were a Shaman, it would be alot easier.



Taskmasters are a 2 hour respawn after killed.

I would hesitantly say yes, it shouldn't be too hard. I believe, however, some of them are unslowable and flurry.

I wouldnt worry about the pouch, its much easier to obtain than the other 3 pieces, you'll get one soon enough. And I dont recommend trying to duo them with your dru/mnk combo.

The tightest group I've ever done TMs with was



me: 65 MNK, 50+ AA

65 DRU, 50+ AA

64 CLR, 40+ AA

61 WAR, 5 AA



Of course we had no slower, but we did clear the whole cycle with the WAR taking only 2 deaths and the druid 1 death during the whole thing. We pretty much drained the DRU and CLR of all mana after every fight and had to wait a long time between fights - but it was doable. Everyone had gear that was pretty acceptable for none of us having Emp access (no high end Ssra loot, no NTOV loot or better)



Based on that, I would say that a low 60s MNK/DRU combo would be pretty risky.

The rhoth that is permanently up is one of the unslowable ones, iirc, behind the locked door. Pretty sure the second unslowable one is in the rooms near the mine entrance, on teh left when facing the mines.

A monk / druid combo vs Taskmasters? I'd say no. Just get a plate tank - doesn't matter what class - to add to your group and go at it. You could probably get away with having a ranger tanking but it would still be pretty heal intensive for the druid. Plate tank is the best way to go.

Considering I've seen both a shaman and necro solo TM's, it should be possible.. Just mind you pick the right TM, because (as noted above) some are harder than others.

No chance to win the unslowable taskmaster with one druid and monk only IMO.



You can duo with shaman to camp slowable taskmaster. However, you better get virtue first.

Have done every TM and the Warden with a 61 SHM/65 Necro combo. The unslowable ones, we just let pet tank and keep it healed. The one TM that wanders could be doable by a druid/monk but close.

I _think_ there is at least one taskmaster that can be soloed by a well equipped druid (I want to say the Warden Mekuzh, who I believe is snareable?) I haven't tested it myself though.

That's what I ended up doing, my play time is unpredictable though with work and all so it makes it hard to know when guild is doing stuff and if I'll be going or not.

Heh. Tell me about it. Sometimes I log on and get real lucky and catch an entire night of raiding.



Other times I log on and poof, my guild's on the tail end of finishing up.



But gratz. If all you need is insignia, you'll be good to go next time you do emp, since fighting the generals is realllllllly easy on way to emp.



Have fun. There's nothing more satisfying than snake killing.
