Visual AC versus actually AC?

Ok I think the general concensus is monks are functioning at right around 200 less ac then what we see visually. Is that about right? Also if I'm correct defense skill is equates to about 2.5ac per point of defense. So that would translate to about a 80 point reduction in defensive skill. Though our defense/mitigation nerf is not visable that way. So roughly that would put us at about 172 defensive skill. That would be below the Defensive skill caps for Shaman's and Druids (Which fyi cap's at 200). I for one do not like this invisible nerf I would prefer to be able to see the exact changes made. I also believe we should have better defensive and mitigation skills then shamans or druids. Which since I am unable to see the exact changes just have to assume. I would like to have my visable defense reduced rather then this behind the scene change. Also I feel that monks should cap in defense some where below rogues and rangers at about 230 (our pre 51 cap). I would gladly except a 22 point reduction in this manner. As I suspect that the change as it stands now is far more then this and as I stated I believe it is actually below the defensive caps for druids and shamans.
