Know its probably been asked before, but I tried search and didnt find anything. I'd like to start parsing to see how my damage is doing and to be able to surf the net and such while in trader mode, but this computer is XP so I can't window EQ in its current settings. Is there a way to fix this? Any help or link to somewhere it was discussed before would be great.

I can toggle EQ into windowed mode just fine on XP. Alt-Enter to get windowed mode, and Alt-Shift-R to get the mouse. What happens when you try this? If it doesn't work, what video card do you have?

or do this
Install ACT (Application Compatibility Toolkit) from either the Windows XP CD, located in the SupportTools Directory, or it can be downloaded from the following link:
download.microsoft.com/do.../act26.exe (http://download.microsoft.com/download/.NetStandardServer/Install/2.6/NT5XP/EN-US/act26.exe)
Install it, then run Compatibility Administration Tool.
Look for EverQuest.
Right click on eqgame.exe, and select Disable Entry.
Congrats, now you can Alt-Tab in Windows XP w/EQWindows!
EDIT: Updated download link as of 01.31.03
then all you need to do to get out of the eqwindow is to hit the start button it AUTOMATICALLLY releases the mouse.
