sounds good, but no battle music!

i hear thunder, i hear skeletons cackling, i play mp3s flawlessly... but theres no rivervale music and no battle music. i looked in my controls and set music volume to 100%... no nothing. windows xp pro, athlon 2200+, epox 8rga, 512MB ram, eq trilogy and luclin.



i installeq eq and directx9.0a and then reinstalled my sound drivers. should i just reinstall eq and dx9.0a and not worry about my sound drivers?

i did a full file check and downloaded the stonebrunt mountains files i was missing, but no rivervale music... ive checked in my C:/programfiles/sony/everquesttrilogy folder and see music for every other goddamned thing except rivervale.

i googled for rivervale music and this post is what came up. bugger.



does anyone know how to install it from disk? i try and all i get is the installshield and it tries to install itself again.

I would have guessed that a full scan would do it, but as has been said, you really don't want this music, anyway.



The battle music is fun until about level 4 on your very first character, and then you never want to hear it again. Rivervale's music has been the brunt of jokes for 4 years now, and it's annoying in that fat-church-lady-with-a-wart-and-cigarette-trying-to-tell-you-how-to-live-your-life kind of way.
