I bought a Dell a few months ago and it came with word perfect/Quatro pro, but i didnt like that and since im in retail selling microsoft stuff i got a copy of office professional free...So i uninstalled WP and installed Office XP pro. Well soon as i did that everytime i go to sony's SWG web forums i get a runtime error on each page i load (2 errors actually one right after another)...Now they dont damage the web page, but its very annoying to have to close 2 error windows every time i open a new page while browsing the web (It happens on other pages too but usually on forums). Is there a way i can tell it to stop displaying the error messages? Its the message that asks if i want to debug the page source.

Thanks for any help

Yup, there's a checkbox in the Advanced section of your internet options (tools > internet options from IE.) It's almost worded exactly like your question: display a notification about every script error.

However, my first suggestion would be to completely uninstall the corel suite and office XP then reinstall office XP - might be a buggy install with some weird vba errors that caused it. Also don't forget to visit office.microsoft.com for office updates; not all of them will be on the windows update site. Last I knew, Office XP had 2 service packs, which both fixed a lot of errors (especially the 2nd.)

Of course you could give IE the finger (http://www.mozilla.org/) instead. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT=";)">
