Log Parsing

Ok I have never done this. I have never really felt the need but after this patch I'm going to start. I just don't know how to. So if anyone could give me some directions in how to do this I would appreciate it. Things like programs needed, what to do in game to start the parser. I don't know just whatever I need to do this correctly. Thanks.

First off, be running EQW (or parse the log files after you log). eqw.eqhackers.com



Second, download eqcompanion ( http://home.inreach.com/kai/EQCompanion/Downloads.html )



When you want to parse a log in real time, type /log in game and open up EQC and open a log in progress, find the log file (EQlog_Name32.txt) or something like that, and click on 'fights' in EQC and it will parse the damage you do. All kinds of stats there, goof around with it etc.
