Will this computer run EQ at all?!!?!

Hey im looking to make my old computer into a BoT computer so i can dual box my shaman the computers stats are as follows



p3 600mhz

128MB PC2100 SD Ramm

ATI Raedon 9800 128Mb (just put the new Nvidia in main 256meggys <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/tongue.gif ALT=":p"> )

on my broadband Roadrunner connection

not sure of any other stats that truely matter



im not looking for a full lucin model raiding machine just something that will run old models w/o a TON of lag

upgrade that and it will run well (definate lag in raiding tho). a 128 meg will run, but not as well.

I dual boxed off of a 600 MHz celeron with 384 mb of RAM and a REALLY REALLY old video card (TNT2 Ultra). It ran ok, with all old models. I never even tried to turn on new models, I didn't want to blow the thing up.

As other have said, up your system RAM to either 256 or 512, and you should run ok even using the new models if you like. It won't be ultra fast, but it won't be a slug either. EQ is a memory hog. The more RAM you have (staying within the OSes limit, and for Windows 98 that's 1 Gig max), the better performance you'll bet.

now im faced with a question.... i can spend 1200 and get a new comp 2.7GhZ... 1gb ram... 256 nvidia...



or how much would it cost to make my comp run EQ?



my quesiton is in old models will i lag to hell in raids or running around... in theese 4 zones
