Monks VS Pets

I wanna know why a magician epic pet is able to KS me using gharns & primal at least 40% of the time on normal xp mobs. If our damage output is so high that we need to be frail at mitigation, why do we do very little more dps than a mage's PET?

Because pets are one of the best kept secrets of the game. Everyone remembers one time a pet badly controlled (before all the changes) caused a wipeout and never lets the necros and mages bring their pets out on raids.



A low 50 pet can outdamge mid and upper 50s warriors. I get outdamaged by 49 pets. Nevermind once the mage/necro starts blasting.

I am always outdamaged by our 60 mages water pet (cons blue to me) and that is not counting it's magic attack, just normal hits and backstab.

a while back I was waiting at a naggy raid so we started to duel a mage made his pet and owned all the melees. One after another after another.



This was before the nerf... it was freaking humiliating



he wasn't even healing until you had to camp out in shame...
