Where are there lots of spiders at?

I want to make money from getting spider silks, but where can I find a lot of spiders? And also, is there anywhere better than HHK to level up at during level 30? Thanks.

Lots of Spiders: East/West Commons, North Ro, South Ro, West Karana.



As for exp around lvl 30, Dawnshroud Peaks is a good area. Also Marus Seru.



If you check the "Guides and Tactics" forum, there is a post that is a list of guides. Go in there and you can see some topics on good exp spots.

UGuk has a nice supply. Also had a pally friend tell me there is a whole field of spiders in Everfrost now, haven't gone to confirm.

Well if you want to go old-school, you could hunt with groups in Overthere, there are still a few people there to form groups and gain some mad exp. There are a lot of white yellows and reds there so exp should go by fairly fast and its a good place to practice chaing pulling as a group.

Would have to agree EK those Crag spiders drop up to 8 per kill so happy hunting..

East Karana rocks for spider silk, I have had up to 7-8 drop at one time off a single crag spider.



At lvl 30 I would go to OverThere xp rocks, usually 1% per kill in a full grp and sometimes 2% off of Tigers, and you can hunt there getting good xp until 40.

I tended to lean towards UGuk for silks, as in EK anyone with track in zone tended to keep the crag numbers low. Spiders in Guk drop gems often too, good monk carryable loot (low end gems, bloodstones, pearls and the like).



Bonus with EK though is lions. Kill lions, loot any non-ruined pelt. Sell HQ pelts as is, skin down MQ to LQ and make leather padding. Sells like crazy in the bazaar! All the high lvl smiths need padding, and damned if they're going to hunt spiderlings. Heck, just buy spiderling silk in bazaar and make padding, sell for 20pp ea.



Last suggestion, sell silk swatches rather than the silks themselves, they sell better.
