these changes to the monk class would help us, not overpower us, and hopefully follow the same path as the "vision."

(a) Increase Current Skill Caps @ 60.

~ Double Attack 250 to 252

~ Flying Kick 225 to 250 (regular Kick caps at 250)

~ Riposte 225 to 250

~ Feign Death 200 to 225 (fewer failed FDs)

~ Intimidation 200 to 225 (greater chance of fear)

(b) Remove the Off-hand damage penalty for dual-wield.

(c) impliment a minimum damage requirement for discipline Thunder Kick.

(d) give us more robes. yeah, it's style and it's trivial, but robes kick ass.. especially ones that don't look goofy (hot pink and purple.. bleh). monkly colors would be nice.. blacks, whites, browns...

(e) give the iksar back their tail rake (luclin animation doesn't include this)

in my opinion these changes would better define our roles in groups, solo, role-playing, and perhaps even raids (where our damage output is a notch higher than it once was, and our ability as an "off-tank" would be more valuable.. especially with some of the higher-end axp riposte skills).

I believe TKick does have a minimum damage level, roughly 2x minimum flying kick damage. If you are advocating a higher minmum, I am with you .

Also, could we add that mend skill over 100 should finally mean something, like maybe a pecentage of extra hitpoints of healing per skill level that scales every so often as a character gains levels?

Example (percentages by each 25 extra skill levels over 100):

Level 45: 1% (4% by 200).

Level 50: 2% (8% by 200)

Level 55: 3% (12% by 200)

Level 60: 4% (16% by 200)

So a level 60 monk with a mend skill of 200 would do a 41% mend instead of a 25% mend.

This wouldn't be too unbalancing for monks would it?

This sounds more like a wish list than any constructive solution. A person who seeks a constructive solution will come to a comprimise of gives and takes.

They could just give us back what they took and bump the mitigation of anyone wearing plate

What was the reasoning why they did not just do this again?

VI won't give us anything because the monk community is too divided on the issue here or any issue that comes up.

Kusanku, do you even know the impact of what I think you meant by this would be?:

Quote:
(b) Remove the Off-hand damage penalty for dual-wield.

If you are talking about the lack of a damage bonus with your off-hand, this would contribute some giant percentage to your DPS. I wish you luck in your endeavor but I would research what the estimated impact on DPS would be before you try to submit anything like this.
