EQ Companion 0.7 available

I just released EQ Companion 0.7. It is able to deal with the <a href=http://home.inreach.com/kai/EQCompanion/DoubleMissBug.html>double-miss bug</a> that has affected log files since the beginning of August and up to last night. Basically every 'miss' message has been reported twice in the log file. This of course affects statistics log parsers collect.

Since this 'double-miss' bug was in effect up until last night and does not exist any more after the nerf, doing comparable parses pre- and post-nerf is not easy. Hopefully EQ Companion 0.7 will help there.

wtf..Mori, you need to take a pill or something. EQCompanion been around way before this time of tension and has been an invaluable tool to many a monk on this board. You need to relax, get some sex, go outside and kick the dog..something. I just hope you're tone is meant to be joking.



Now, EQC, thanks for update, but I upgraded to .7 and is having problems. All the pre-nerf fights, the ones with the double miss bug, now show me as no damage taken. Its like it got rid of all hits, not just the redundant ones.

Tulurean, it really sounds like you had the abbreviated fight messages turned on. EQ Companion cannot deal with those (I am not aware of any other parser which can either).



After this last EQ patch VI changed it so that the log file will get the full damage message (I.E. 'xxxx hits you for yyy points of damage.') even if you are using the abbreviated hitsmode so that would explain why your new fights work OK.
