The free month is up for those that started on release.

Figure its a good time to get some reviews, idea's, comment's, ect about the game.

Are you still having fun?

What would you change?

You think its been a pretty smooth release, or were there alot of problems?

Is the PvP any fun?

What's do you think the most important profession that does damage on the battlefeild, most important support role, and what's the most fun looking to try?

Is it like EQ PvP, if not how would you describe it?

Yup, Still having fun, more than ever actually

Hmm, I'd like to see more skill points available that's about all i got to complain about at the moment

Well the only real bad problem with the release was the first day but yes there were a ton of other minor things too. For example sometimes i couldn't log into a specific server, it would just stay there forever trying to load in. That's fixed along with the lag issue on tatooine seems to be fixed, i'm actually able to walk through busy towns in tatooine without a problem. (Before it was like trying to walk through a bazaar at peak hours). All in all, for the last week and a half everything's been peachy

Yes Pvp can be wicked fun, but i haven't been involved in it too much to really comment on it, I'm a Ranger/Creature Handler, so i'm all about The critters. But if that's your thing, i'd say pick Covert. Over is cool too, although i've heard people on here bitching about it, the trick is stay the fuck off of Tatooine. All the stupid, annoying, newbs are on Tatooine which makes it tough. Their the ones that will fuck with you and give you a hard time if they get the drop on you. If you go to pretty much any other planet out there, you'll have much more fun being overt

Hmm that's a tough one, most damage would probably be a rifleman hidden away somewhere. For example with my laser rifle i can hit for over 1400's hp's. Now this affects the mind pool, which on most is weaker than any other pool, except for maybe craters/medics/artisans. Also a squad leader can greately affect the groups damage, THen there's Faction points if you have enough, you get some crazy options on the battlefield that most people dont have (all in all, there's too many variables to really say for sure who's the best out there). most important support is another tough one, i'd say a good doctor or someone with a ton of faction points for the perks. And most fun looking is Creature Handler, it's awesome to see some of the pets people have, it's like what the hell are you gonna do when you have 2 Rancors charging at you.

Never played PvP in Eq, not even once.

I have another question.. are the cities well populated? Can you run around on the streets and in buildings/cantinas and see several PC's everywhere you go, or is it pretty deserted? Think it will stay that way?

Depends on the Planet. For example Any city you go to on Tatooine, you'll see a lot of players. On some of the busier servers you'll actually see more than you'll want. On Naboo and COrrelia it's the same story. Those are the 3 most popular planets, on most of the other planets there's isnt that many cities so it's not nearly as many people.

But, although the player made cities are not "officially" out yet, you'll find TONS of them. Usually made out of guilds pa's, but not alaways. For examp, on Scylla there's a huge player town dubbed Mos Tattoo. You'll find a ton of high end items there made by master weaponsmiths, armorsmiths, architects, etc. Cool thing too is that most of these player towns have a player who went up the merchant treee pretty high which allows them to list their shop on the planetary map.

So let's say i'm on Naboo and looking for a weaponsmith. I can open up my planetary map and click vendor/weaponsmith and it'll list any players that are able to advertise their shops.

So, in cantinas you'll there's pretty much always someone in there as in medical centers. you can run around and go into places, but The majority of the people you'll see at the Town business hub. It's where the starport usually is, bazaar terminals, mission terminals, Crafting stations, and bank terminals.

theres a huge player town on eclipse on tatooine name Mos Quito (hah)

only thing i would really love to see change/fixed is the damn bugged mission rewards for theme parks (jabba's palace, imperial retreat missions) dont damn near all of jabbas palace missions got nothing at all, even though it says a reawrd has been placed in your backpack after every single mission <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":">

and they need to lower maintainence costs on houses. 800 bucks a day for a medium house is kinda nuts, granted money is easy to get, but if you dont play for a few days and forget to put a few grand into your houses maintainence pool for upkeep.... the walls come tumbling down..

they said i was a fool for building my house in a swamp, but i built it anyway.. and it sank into the swamp.....

You know maintanance cost is related to the quality of the house/harvestor and the amount of stuff in your house. For example I'm a novice architect and have made a small house (one of my first one) with not the best stuff i could have and the maint. fees were about 750 a day then like the 10th house i made i used real good resources and had amazing results during experimentation and when i put that house up, it ended up only costing me about 300 a day to keep it up.
