they currently have 9 servers

in a few days they will have 4 servers. ypu that is right microsoft is closing 5 of the servers because the population is so low that even 4 servers will not be "filled"

shows you that a game with great graphics but BAD gameplay fails to do well.

I feel sorry for the AC players...

Even with just 25 people on a server the server-side lag is horrid a lot of the time.

Put 100 more people on there and... ugh.

Thank god for word of mouth.. From the time it opened nothing said about it.. and when something would be said.. Inevitable was a bad review. Think they are just trying to crank out the money makers without giving it some forsight.

I heard some bad things about it and was not really impressed with it in beta, the graphics were nice, the skill trees were interesting but the way the game world was... empty empty empty

that and i heard that the whole chat server system in the game is badly screwed up, something like its been down since march-april and estimated time of fix is september.

The funny thing is, most game sites gave ac2 wonderful REVIEWS..

lets see:

gamespy 74

gamespot 83

games domain 80

ign 90

for a game that by PLAYERS say - beautiful game - too laggy, gameplay sucks, too easy, etc.

proof that reviews mean nothing. if PLAYERS say it sucks.

it sucks, we don't play, we especially don't pay to play.

And that is exactly why I go more on word of mouth then what a web site or magazine has to say about it... I find that to be a much more accurate indicator of how much I'll enjoy a game.... But Leo is my hero... all the words he said about SWG are true. So I shall now be a Leo groupy and hang on his every word.

Thats the one problem with magazine/website reviews. They have to buy the game and review it as soon as they can.

You can only really tell how fun a game is after you've been playing for quite sometime.

Gee thats a funny piece of advice considering most players who badmouth a game don't even play it as much as the reviewers do.

Funny piece of advice? I've found it to be true more often then magazine reviews. So from my perspective listening to magazine reviews its just down right silly. Remember they count on revenue. You do a good for me... I do a good for you.. Get my drift. They are far from objective. And you don't listen to the people who don't play much. I played SWG for a week before I made my decision.. Such a cynic Yanger.. So young and so full of anger heh...
