Went to the site was poking around til I saw This (http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/in_development.jsp?page=In%20Development)
Looked at the Price (http://www.lucasarts.com/companystore/galaxies/) of the game and its still the same if not more expensive that at other retail stores.
I figure the stuff that was supposed to be implemented at release should be in the game or close by the time the price goes down.
For what ever reason I really look forward to being a Smuggler but it seems kind of pointless to start the game now where I will have the smuggler branch and the other points maxxed out when I wouldn't be able to smuggle til the expansion comes out.
the one cool thing when the vehicles come out it'll be cool/kind of evil that you might be able to steal them...
but honestly I think there should be a limit.
Like if they leave it out in the open then sure its open game, but if they park in a garage and its possible to breaking to the garage then the car Its going to suck, because I think the car stays in the game even if you log.
Plus the space expansion has a alot of potential with the action of tring to sneak/fight your way thru imperial lines.
Heh, I know your saying the original game had alot of potential but I really think by the first price cut making it like 39.99 or so Everything should be set.
I just don't want to take the chance of starting in now and feel completely bored Months before SE comes out. Then quit and have that bitterness about the game when the game is actually getting really good.
I've never played a game where the end game is PVP.. Not sure what you think about it, or if it will be any good. Considering how fast PVP became boring in PlanetSide I hope SWG doesn't follow suit in that matter.
