Launch: August 2003

Why? : no more monopoly of MMPOGs mkt. Verant is trying to play nice and retain the urge of more 'monk fist nerf' and time sink to ensure people will love them and say, 'we love to be in your world, we will not ditch if you suxxor.' They have to rethink the whole cosmic plan. Lucas will also be pissed if, "WHAT? I have to play 3years to achieve a light saber? 10years to afford a freight? pfft!"

Update from the GameStop computers: Date has been changed again to 1/28/03. Last date was 1/20, so late January, early February seems to be a good guess.

AC2 should be around pretty soon. From playing the beta version, the game seems good to go. Graphics and combat are 90% complete with movement still abit sloppy.

Don't think it will be a SWG killer or even EQ killer from the looks.

You just got to play the beta (which was free) and see what your getting into.



Wasn't too impressed.

The wife apparently was going to surprise me with this for Christmas and let it slip tonight. She told me that she was going to go back tommorrow and reserve it as the guy behind the counter told her it would be out by Christmas. I laughed and told her it probably wouldn't be out until the first week of Feburary or so but appreciated the thought.



So I'm guessing Feb 7. First week of Feb on a Friday.



I actually might wait the first month or two out though. I don't want to get involved with another timesink style game and even though I heard SW:G wasn't going that route, I'm worried it might.

My guess is late Feb. although amazon still says Jan 15th. I think this would be great .. i wish somehow we could leagaly force them to put it out on this date, perhaps threaten with a lawsuit of false advertising? All i know is i want to play it now. I want to pay to beta test the damn thing.
