High end monks thoughts post nerf..

Now I don't like to call myself uber, but I have some nice stuff cuz I have played EQ for a while <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">



Anyway....



I don't have numbers.. but I still soloed a gorguna gatherer without taking any damage really.. and I noticed almost 0 difference in puling stuff in VT. Still seemed to mitigate somewhat... I"m not too concerned for myself.



I think this nerf will hurt the lesser equipped monks now ....ones that don't have the luxury of 1500+ AC....

Exactly.



Because I choose to not leave my friends and guild of many levels, I should be punished? Not everyone strives to only be uber and leaves their guild of young to achieve this.

My guild is by no means uber, or even close. My hp/ac are low, my gear is all stuff I bought, this patch hurts me the most.

Yep seems to be about a 10-15% defence (mitigation) nerf, unless you have gear ~200ac or more above the ac soft cap for the mob you're fighting.





So those with worst gear get hit most.

Yep. How many used the argument that people like Furor wouldnt want this nerf because it would hurt the monks in his own guild. Well, apparently monks of that level werent effected, so they wont miss a beat. Just screwed any chance of new monks reaching that level
