Short story about a lilbitchass ranger

So i'm in the Hole the other day with my druid on my other computer. That place has unbelieve xp bonus and i try to go there as much as i can but usually it's camped so when i get there at a nice early time i'm psyched <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">

Anyways i'm chillin there right at the entrace by where those 6 golems spawn and some lil bitch ranger was just sitting there for like an hour without saying anything. Dude never said a word, didn't ask for group in /shout or /occ so i just went about my business. After like an hour he sends a tell to my druid



Lil bitchass ranger "are you playing both characters"

My druid "yup"

Lil bitchass ranger "you know it's because of people like you that everquest sucks and isn't fun. You ruin the game for people that just wanna have fun"

---after a minute to gather my thought on how exactly i was gonna rip him a new asshole---

My druid "Listen up you half man, half elf, all jackass, hippie treehuggin root loving jerkoff, if your jealous becouse you only have one account and are pissed off that you cant solo and need to rely on a group to do anythin, get your shrubby ass another computer or start a character you can solo with and leave me the fuck alone Hippie.

Just wondering one thing...



Are you saying that its duo-boxers that make EQ no fun, or people that get all defensive and have to try to put other people down because of some sort of insecurity that makes eq no fun?



Personally, I'm hoping its the latter.



I duo box a monk and a shaman (wasnt intentional, just sorta came into the shaman account) and I know that I wouldnt have responded like that to the ranger.



on the other hand, what the ranger guy said didnt really help his situation at all. If you start off confrontational, then you're most likely to get a confrontation. *shrug*

maturity of an 8 year old. I'm the problem with EQ, yeah ok. How you gonna blame me for trying to say some bad shit to this guy, which btw i didn't since he must have sent me that tell right as he was loggin, when he's starting with me>.!!



What the hell is wrong with playin on 2 computers??? That's how i enjoy the game. I played a druid on one computer for a year then i really wannted to also start a monk and about the same time i got a laptop from work so i got another account. For me, being that i dont have time to pl.ay 8 hours a day, it's great having having 2 accounts, cause it takes me less time to get better in the game. What i love about EQ is the fighting/questing/ etc part of it, not getting to know people and sit in borring groups forever gettin 1% xp for every 10 kills, THAT SUCKS. So i could give a shit less if i make any friends in the game i just LOVE playin the game.



Now i'im not an asshole and do help people out all the time with ports gettin corpses and all sorts of stuff, and i don't start fights with other. But also i expect the same from them. So in your opinion i'm a jackass for gettin mad at him, well screw you too then. If i'm doing my thing and having fun i don't need people talking shit to me, and aggravating me.



So let me see if i got this right. In your opinion when some dickhead comes out of the blue and tells me that it's cause of me that the game sucks now, LOL, i should have just told him that i will cancel one of my account so that i can make the game fun for him again right.

Why play EQ then? There are plenty of offline games that have fighting, questing, etc. that would be much much cheaper than EQ. If you play on online game, you kinda have to expect to run into other people.

Obviously if i HATED all people i wouldn't be playin eq. I just hate morons that for apparent reason try to ruin my good time whitout any instigations on my part. As for the grouping thing. As for the other part of that, LIKE I SAID I LIKE EQ, it's always updated with new zones new weapons, new mobs, and that's why i'm playing it. Is that ok with you? is that good enough of a reason?
