Which aug are you using? I understand the dps one is pretty minimal (~20dps?). The tank one appeals to me, but I believe it has a rune effect and I don't know if that draws agro since some of our knights intentionally use rune procs for agro.

I am not seeing any perceptible increase in dps from the "dps shawl". I've done a few, albeit short (one hour) parses with and without the augment, and sometimes the shawl parse is a few dps more, sometimes it is less. All within the variance you see in parses.

It does make me wonder if the shawl is anything but a really good augment and that the effect isn't worth considering.

Anybody else seeing this?

I saw a post from someone that based on proc rate, they calculated a dps gain of about 20dps or so.

I know I'm in the distinct minority here, but I'd rather have the increased stats on the tank aug than the possible 20 dps increase from the dps aug. I didn't get it for the rune. And I haven't noticed any increased agro from the rune to answer the original question. It only procs off a dodge, so it shouldn't and doesn't proc that often when you're not tanking.

I ended up going for the dps one, but not for dps since that's squat. I'd prefer the stats of the tank one, but I decided the heal proc of the dps one made the most sense. Currently a 581hp heal for me.
