The Advanced Nanite Transport .. what a piece of junk, eh? A single annoying newbie in a Reaver can take you out in a few seconds. Some wandering idiot with a Decimator can blow you up with ease. Who the hell wants to do ANT runs without a Galaxy to hot drop you into a base?

Well, I do. (When the continent isn't infested with Reavers. They seem to be a trademark of the NC, since they are the only thing as annoying as Phoenix's)

Did you know ANTs are some of the best BEP in the game? Well, here's my guide to getting easy battle ranks.

---------------------------------------

The Advanced Nanite Transport Guide

---------------------------------------

Chapter 1 - Getting your Transport.

Locate an ANT. The ANT is available with any vehicle cert. Once a vehicle is available to you, get into any armor that isn't Reinforced or a MAX (or ya won't fit inside) and spawn an ANT.

Chapter 2 - Finding Nanites

Check your map. Look for the closest warpgate without conflicts near it (your ANT is a very fragile thing) and follow the roads until you get to the warpgate bubble.

Chapter 3 - Loading Resources into your ANT

No one can hurt you inside the warpgate bubble. Park your ANT inside and get out. If you walk around to the back of your ANT, you'll see a symbol on the ground. Walk up to it and press your "Use" key. The ANT will deploy its charging vanes and begin absorbing NTUs from the warpgate. Get back into your ANT, and wait until your NTU levels are MAXed out.

Chapter 4 - Transporting the NTUs

Check your map again. Find a base that belongs to your empire that has a low resource level, and find the safest route to it. Drive through the front gates and look around for a NTU Silo. It will have a vertical green bar representing the facilities NTU level, and 4 charging vanes sticking out of the sides.

Chapter 5 - Powering the Facility

Get out of your ANT and go around to the back, and deploy it. You cannot deploy it correctly if the facility has been hacked, or doesn't belong to you. Your ANT will let go of NTUs, and they will flow into the Silo. You will recieve 20 BEP a second until the facility is at 100% power. This won't take all of your NTUs to do, so you can go from base to base until your ANT is out of power. You can easily recharge your ANT at a warpgate again.

-----------------------------------------------------------

What's that? You don't have enough time to read all of my guide? Well, you already did, but i'll sum it up anyways.

1) Get ANT.

2) Drive to Warpgate.

3) Deploy ANT in bubble.

4) Drive to Facility.

5) Deploy ANT at Silo.

Ahh, it's delicious misconceptions like this that have netted me thousands of experience! Guns dont work in warpgate bubbles. That's it. However, a tank moving at 60 kph DOES work in a warpgate bubble, and a tank can easily crush you if you're out of your vehicle, or ram your vehicle till it explodes. So basically, just get out and die. It's easier on me.

He speaks the truth...

another tip would be to get that sound implant so when you come near a base you can jump out and see if any enemy is inside.

Today I was loading up an ANT into our Gal, then the Gal and its driver suddenly started taking fire from a nearby NC MAX. Took the ANT and rammed the MAX. He died, I lost about half my armor. A fair trade, all in all. And was funny as hell to see the little: Triark <ANT Image> NC MAX Name.

So in conclusion: ANT's are the perfect assault weapon. Who needs tanks and missles and MAX's and dropships when you have ANTS? tee hee.

Ok, this is going to sound like a REAL n00b question (and it is!), but, when looking at the map, how do you tell which bases are low on NTU? (So you know where to go and use your ANT.)

Thanks!

You can see it by looking at the percentage displayed over the base on the map... I think

heh another good tip is if possibly bring a reaver with you...

Everytime I would fly cover they enemy never went for the ant once they were shooting at me chasing me (cause I let them keep-up) it was pretty funny.

Fling is pretty fun when mosq's are in the wargate and you play tag, only you are always it.

Me and another guy tore those Mosq up and never had to use a weapon, not that we could.
