What team should I join? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/pimp.gif ALT=":hat">

I saw this free beta thing on fileplanet and Im downloading it now.

Despite much whining on the Beta boards they're all just about equally good. I would just experiment with all of them and pick the one with the style weapons that suit your game. There is a training center in every Sanctuary (home base) that lets you test all the guns and vehicles. You can only be one empire per server (3 servers currently) but nothing says you can't create one on each server or delete one and make a new one.



Personaly I didn't like Vanu (purple) that much, I'm liking the Terrans (red) right now, but I think the NC (blue) AKA "lords of the shotgun" may end up being my favorite.

I like VS the most. For some reason I just really like the energy weapons, and I definitely like the Jumping for the VS Maxes.



I have taken 2 TR maxes at the same time and had little to no help, and the NC are really good with infantry cause their shotguns but I've really never had a problem taking them out.



Also for the jumping I have done some pretty fun and suprising things. I jumped up and shot reaver and let in run into me which killed in when i was in a AV MAX.



Almost no Mountain range is a problem cause you can jump over it, or jump to a ledge get MAX cap back up then finish jumping the Mt.



And finally I think MAXes are most verenable to getting run over cause of how slow the are and how long it takes to get movin with the running

But in the VS MAX you can jump outta the way and get a better shot on them cause they will have their back faced to ya.

Twas an 11 hour patch for me when I first got it.



As it is... don't listen to the whiners on the Beta Boards. I love Vanu the most and a large majority complains that they're gimp. They're not.



There really is a good balance in this game, the best thing to do is find out what you like the best and stick with it (and loot Terran Cyclers <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> ).

err Nerfed the VS maxes... now it literally takes a like less than 1/2 half of the max cap to jump on the CC....

If you like the most populated and fanboi-ish Empire, as well as quite a few zergs go Terran Republic.



If you like to get big damage in a single shot and participate in much zerging go New Conglomerate.



If you like to be the underdog, forced to use tactics to do anything because you have weaker numbers, weapons and MAXs, go Vanu Sovereignty.





Personally I've played Vanu both before and after the pwipe. I enjoy the challenge.


Say NO to overly-broad EULAs. Your computer is YOURS and so is the content on it. If you do not protect and defend your own privacy then expect it to be violated.
