Earthen Fist - PoE

Just wondering if anyone can pass along some info on getting An Ancient Vekerchiki Champion and getting my wife one of the Earthen Fist pet proc weapons. Just got my own Savage Platinum Fists last night in Fire and I love them, would like to get her the fists.



I've read a lot of conflicting info. Looking for someone that actually has the fists to give me some advice. I have a good steady group that EXPs in PoEarth from a spot a bit south of the Stone ring along the wall. Any info you all can share is greatly appreciated. Thanks!



BTW did a search, before anyone asks, and didn't find any info on the Fist that way.

Actually the place that you want to camp them is bit past the temple that you get to by following the left wall out of zone in. Past what is called for a camp on Drinal as "ledge". Camp on the other side of that temple and pull to clear everything making sure to spawn the traps. I've only ever seen him pop on zone up from a server reset. I've never seen any of the earthen named spawn any other time and I do a fair bit of exp'ing there.

Strangely enough, we had a champion up on a raid there once... but here's the catch, it was 2 days after a patch... by that time somebody would have killed it or triggered the trap, seeings as Tantisala wasn't up.



It does seem to only spawn on server up, yet that one time really made me wonder.

So from looking at this map (http://mapfiend.eq-toolbox.com/view.php?map=Poeartha_988.txt&bg=b&id=59), are you suggesting somewhere around neg 1500, pos 500? Basically, SW corner? I think the place you are calling the ledge camp is where we normally set up shop to exp, around neg 1250 neg 1000 along the zone wall heading south. Another friend in the local Uberguild on Saryrn said HE thought the mob spawned due west out from that spot, around neg 1000 neg 500ish. I've seen word he spawns in both locations, thus my confusion, although everyone generally indicates the mob is only up on server reset...



I think next patch I am gonna get my regular EXP group to camp out at the ledge and try our luck.

Neg 1200, neg 1000 is the "ledge" camp on Xegony too, however you dont want to be set up there.



I got called to loot mine after a guild group had them drop (second pair on server afaik). They were set up on the temple, on the level slightly west and below where croc spawns, at neg1600 pos100 (croc was up, very low agro range), though i dont know where the named actually spawned from. You do need to set up on the temple somewhere, its difficult, or atleast annoying, to try and pull the mobs off the side, they prefer to path around.

You can camp the named I did it. And I got one. Trap spawns on the croc temple any of the Vertachki things. There are like 5 traps if i remember right.

Yesterday we tried camping on the temple itself. We also went inside the temple. Is it suggested the Ancient Verblah can spawn from any of the traps on the temple itself or are the traps on the zone floor?

I did a search and could not find anything either. Besides, the previous posts are still unclear: one person said (with map reference) the spawn was on the zone floor, another suggested it was on the temple? I took a small raid and an SK was getting trap info from the serverwide SK channel and that was vague, not to mention the issue of validity.



I'm just trying to narrow down information to make the "quest" more efficient. If I'm going to drag 5+ people along for a nifty toy I would rather have some information other than, "well, I guess a few people on the monk boards think it might be over here sorta, maybe".

Week or 2 ago i spawned it.. dropped fist........... i didnt get~ yes i was mad, 2 months every single reset i went to try and spawn and someone who never tried once got it =p oh well.



When i finally got Champion to spawn it was on the bottom trap according to map above..

So he isn't even guaranteed to spawn? I think i've triggered about 4 of 5 traps right now, servers went down in the middle of the night.
