at Br 16 bout to be 17 been changing my implants between battles and Think i have tried them all and they just don't seem to make hardly any difference for me anyways.

The regen one is pretty good if you are in a max running and jumping or doing something where you are going to take falling dmg

The personal sheild just sucks

the 2nd wind is kind of cool. I have made it out of my reaver a couple of times due to it

audio implant helped a little when in a base but not that much I always pretty much search/scan bases in my own pattern anyways.

someone always has darklight so yours is not needed

melee booster is probly good for the infiltrators but I've never liked wearing that suit. Is not the way I like to fight

Range magnifier is actually kind of annoying to me for some reason

silent run again something for the infiltrator nothing there for me

surge would be good if it was always activated, cause then you it would help me get to my vehicle faster but thats about the only use. I never run very long distances and if I have to I take my MAX if vehicle is not availible. I mean how bland and boring is that, heh.

So I end up keeping Adv targeting on just cause

I think if they made personal shields always on and would only drain sta when hit or able to surround the vehicle you are in that would be pretty cool

I was hoping for something more vital and/or role defining implants, possibly something more fun

What do you guys think?

and if you could design an implant what would it be?

Tring to think of some myself, but extremly tired just took my bio final.... was soo long should have been called bio SAT

One thing I am thinking of

Is they should have some Empire based implants, like you can only get the implant at your sanc and everywhere else the only implants you could get the "common pool" implants or something like that.

Implants are indeed bland.

I mean sure I understand that it's supposed to help you and not change the tide of battle but most of them are useless. Maybe there will be more implants at release? I hardly even have time to use Adv Targetting myself especially in the heat of battle.

well i had the target one and thought it was utterly useless for my needs. Like i give a shit who's in a vehicle or what their name is. i picked up the extended range one, and i do dig that one a lot

Probably the one thing PS suffers from is lack of variety in terms of how you dev elop your toon. The development of your "character" has many shortcomings in the eyes of us RPGers. Yet in the eyes of the FPSers there is a lot more character development thyan they are used to having.

Hopefully PS developers will put the FPS guys in AWE by implementing tons of new stuff for the characters to wear and use, AND find new ways for characters to advance and become unique. The only problem with this is that it can lead to unbalancing of the game. Somehow they have to be able to make it for BR1 toons can still kill BR20 toons yet still make BR20 toons a lot better than BR1's.
