No way, even breaking 3k doesnt seems a stretch. 4k is like absolute top of the line velious at a minimum.

I managed to make a magelo with upgrades that are tradable and put them in my magelo.



SO far I'm at 3800hp roughly. Can anyone recommend different items and try and get it to 4k?

Yes, but would be VERY expensive and you'd have to have luck finding everything. This includes ornate patterns that would end up as no drop. You would also need to be about 55+.

Unfortunately, I think Tingteng's view is pretty valid. 4K is a nice milestone, but it's not all that exclusive nowadays. 5k, on the other hand, is likely to be much more of an 'exclusive' club. I've been 4k plus since at least the spring, achieved almost exclusively through tradeable and Kunark/Velious gear. At 4662 atm, with a couple tradeable PoP pieces, a little Luclin, etc.



Although I haven't bothered to look at it too closely, I'd say that, yes, you could hit 4k in tradeable gear, though it certainly WONT be cheap.

I am at 4600 hps, cant recall when and what item got me into 4k hps, but its been awhile.



It is most certainly doable to break 4k hps with droppable gear. I recall during velious when only 1 monk had 4k hps and that was a milestone(Denzalo?)



Im more interested in my naggy/vox monk atm heh. He is level 51 and has 2938hps. A few more buyables and hell be in the 3k club with 1200ac.

certainly not easy to get 4k, but still surprised me to see a list for a relatively low mark. I know a couple of the monks in the guild I am currently apping are over the 5k mark and they just got their first AHR last week. They are in Sol ro, but have only been there a couple weeks and have not even attempted RZtW. By no means is it a powerhouse guild as many of the good targets are taken by the strong guilds on the server before they find them up with enough folks logged in to attempt. That is just to put it in perspective.



On the question about purchasing for 4k... well, it depends on the effort. I would say given enough time and effort for L65 + 100AA and some LDoN time and a few quests that can be done with a single group, a casual non-raiding monk can get over 4k. They really wouldn't have to spend a ton either - probably under 200k which can be accumulated in the time to get 100 AA anyway.

Hit level 65 and you break 4K by 45 hps......

EDIT #2 Add on 23AA and spend them on hps and you got yourself a 4500hps monk at 62. You break 4600 at level 65 with these AAs.

The 4khp mark IS an accomplishment. You cannot get there JUST by hitting 65. You have to either get some gear that is UNGODLY expensive, difficult to attain or invest in AA points AND get some gear that is SLIGHTLY less than ungodlyh expensive or difficult to attain. For the normal player, it is a great milestone. If it wasn't, you wouldn't have so many people posting that they JUST got there or are close to it.



Remember this board is frequented by monks, not just hardcore level 65's with 300aa's and Elemental Flagged. There are still those of us who hope to one day get into SolRO's tower or maybe finally take down the emperor and peek into VT.

Grats on your 4khp <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D"> . I don't even remember when I broke that hp but I remember I was very happy. I don't know what is my unbuff HP is right now, my lvl65 shaman always buffed me with Focus, but my fully raid buff is now 8267HP. My currently goal is to break 8500hp but I think I need some loots from Time zone for that, just one away from Time btw.

have nd3, PE, and innate sta 3. I get raid buffed to 6506 hps, but I usually sit at 6200 ish cause id prefer SoT from a ranger then BSS from a pally.



O and a tad off topic, yes you can get to over 4k hps quite easy with bazaar bought items and a few aa's. Problem is cash, ya it takes alot of plat to get over 4k hps but if you want it, you can get it.

I'll be honest though, I never fight with my max HP profile. I'm at exactly 3900 with my hard-core pulling setup, 3852 with my Max DPS setup and 3805 on my tanking (2hb) profile.



P.S. don't mock the 4k club. We are hardly uber, but for people who can't join raiding guilds, it is harder than it looks.

should be possible to break 4k with purchased gear / aa's / single group xp stuff.



My monk is an alt, only raid stuff he has is a couple of raid rots, hat and weapon. hat is a 100hp hat from ssra, but white dragon helm is purchaseable so can even that out. my weapon is 125hp caen's off emp, but before that had a sofw, and i'm 4100 unbuffed hp. so yes, you can, but it might take a lot of investment in your character. I basically play cleric and monk for alts, and since I cant' buy anything for my ranger, I sink my plats into cleric and monk pretty much. Been playing for over 5 yrs now /shrug. Made my monk and ranger before kunark came out, cleric is more new but I made him to support guild raiding (and PL'ing <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> )
