Question about Fileplanet and planetside

People on the planetside board have been talking about how they subscribed to Fileplanet to DL the Planetside beta.exe and when you subscribe it gives you a key..



Is this how anyone here got into beta or am I just reading things wrong?



I don't want to subscribe to fileplanet and d/l planetside and not be able to play it.

no. as sorta a popularity thing, they released a bunch of beta cd-keys and the file as downloadable for fileplanet subscribers.

its just sort of a promotion.... though im pretty sure all the cd-keys would be used up by now <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=":(">

It took my key from FilePlanet ok. Whew Patching now.

I started my download 2 hours ago. Not sure if ill get the key but you would think they wouldn't let you download over a gig of data to find you can't use it.

Just finished downloading and patching. About to log in for a quick go before work.
