uh.....in single player?

What are your comp specs? It might be a ram or CPU speed problem...your comp might not be fast enuogh but i dunno

Ya with that I would assume the problem is the video card <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/tongue.gif ALT=":p"> , hehe.

I don't know if you tinkered with the settings at all, but I know when i first started playing, i used all default settings, and my game SEEMED to run slow. The camera swivel was choppy, the character seemed to walk everywhere instead of running, etc. If this is what you mean by lag, check out the video settings and increase the dial/speed of a few things (mentioned above). It helped me a lot, and sometimes it seems too fast now, lol.

It's the video card...

TnT2 is a very outdated card for that game.

Also dont max out the textures. 64 sucks up a ton of resources, 32 a decent amount, might try lower if ya can, picture quality wont be that good, but hey...

Heh its the TNT2. That thing is ancient. At the very least you need a geforce2. You can get a geforce4200 for pretty cheap though and thats a great card for the dollar amount (around 150ish).

NWN is a really lame game anyway.

I wouldn't say that Yanger.

Granted I will agree that it wasn't all it was hyped to be (but then does any game really live up to the hype), but I am glad I spent the money on it, because I have really gotten my monies worth out of it.

Both Single player and Multi-player.

Personally the single player put me to sleep, only way I was able to keep at the game was the interesting stuff my single char could do (a single char bioware game!?... ugh!)

A paladin/rogue is definitely an interesting combo with the lil thief as your henchman.

But I bet multiplayer wouldn't be too bad if you had a solid team of rpg'rs, but do they still exist in online games? Few and far between IMO

I gave NWN to a hardcore roleplayer friend of mine for 20 bucks like a week afte rI bought it.

Single Player is the worst single player RPG experience I'd trudged through in years, and multiplayer was generally either A) too laggy. or B) the server was lame.

I'm sure there are some cool servers now, but really no matter how cool the people are, the game system is totally crappy.

Its definately your video card as when I got the game I had the same card and the framerate sucked. It made the game totally unplayable. I bought myself a cheap GeForce 2 Ti card and it runs very smoothly on my P3 733.

Cheers
