Everytime I try to type /bazaar I get booted to desktop. Anyone else having the same problem? Really annoying. : (

had the same problems this morning, loaded the default UI and it works magically. Still looking to see what has changed for the bazaar window compared to what I had working prior to the last patch. I know that the window is stretchable, but I am looking for other elements that might be interfering.

copy the following files from your default folder into your custom folder and it will work fine.

gemicons02.tga

window_pieces02.tga

SIDL.xml

EQUI.xml

EQUI_TrainWindow.xml

this is easy - just load your default skin while using bazaar .. /loadskin defualt

Dharko's way is much better, why load default if you can fix it by moving a few files?

Somes times it's not each as moving files.

Here's what I suggest. If your skin does not make any modifications to the files listed above. Remove Them from your custom directory.

Complete, remove them. You do not need a second copy of a n unedited file. If the file does not appear in your custom directory, EQ will load it from the Default directory automatically.

This will save a lot of headache in the future when VI makes a nice big edit to EQUI_junkassfileyounevertouched.xml and you're trying to figure out why you're crashing.

However; if your skin does modify them files, then you're forced to use the /load default 1 method, or merge in the changes yourself (for the experenced only).

No, definately UI. I have some characters that it happens to and some it doesn't. Same account on same computer, different UIs.

VI added a couple graphic calls to the EQUI_Animations.xml file. Along with a couple bug fixes ( there is still one that I know of left in the file <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT=";)"> ).

They also added a file or such as well. I don't know the full detail of all the changes, since I didn't have to pay attention to them ( yet ).

Cause of these changes, there was missing information in Custom UI files. ie: if you modified EQUI_Animations.xml using the pre 7/30 version, you're missing a couple new graphic calls.

When the "patched" UI tries to load these new calls, it doesn't find them. And instead of properly erroring and preventing the window from opening, it crashes to desktop logging the error in UIError.txt (or something like that). <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">

So .. Now, after every patch, you and all the UI authors ( including myself ) has to start worrying about if VI broke your UI or not. Don't ya just love it!
