Request: Edit post titles?

Could we get the ability to edit the titles of posts that we've made?

Nope. When I click Edit, just the text body shows up in the box. The subject stays up top displayed on a static line.

I guess that isn;t the right setting. I guess I have to set a number for how long you should be able to edit your subject title.

What seems a reasonable length of time?

Hmmm.. indefinite? Many times people like to edit the title to reflect changes to current information.

well 0 did not = indefinite.

I'm not exactly sure how long 'indefinite' is in minutes so i tried 6 months.

Is it retroactive? I still can't change the title of this post.

Interesting... I can edit the post title if I use IE... but not Firefox. In IE a new editpost page comes up... but in Firefox, I basically get the "quickreply" thing right in the middle of the message with my current text placed there, no new page.

Additionally: If I click the Edit button a second time during my Firefox editing, then it sends me to the separate Edit Post page where I can change the subject.

So looks like it is working, just works a little differently in Firefox as opposed to IE.
