Anyone getting there UI to work since 10/31 patch?

I've tried 3 different UI's, all of them either bring me to a default version (that erases most of my hotkeys) or kicks me to desktop as soon as i try to load it (Or, does the above default version then kick me to desktop when i try to zone).



Also, I got a skin someone posted here (dont remember the name, its got a different background texture and the buff icons are replaced on the right side with small rectangles with the buff name in them and a much smaller icon) . Anyway every time i try to load this skin nothing really happens, Is there something special i have to do in cases where you are changing the default background textures and such?

I think many UIs are having issues after the last patch.



I've been reading the eqgui forums and it seems that many people are having various degrees of problems with the new UIs.

make sure you delete these files from your mod directory(if they exist) so that the files in the default directory overide.

I didn't touch mine ( Eugee Vert ) and it still works perfectly, no error message, nothing buggy at all.



They did change some XML codes, so I am surprised it didn't affect it.

I use Tilric's UI, and haven't had to change a thing. Works fine.

Since the patch I can log onto my character creation screen. I try to enter the world and then get bumped back to my desk-top. I've tried to log on with different computers and always the same result. I don't see any of the above files in the folder I made for my UI, but I did find them in my default folder. Are these the ones I should erase? Is anyone else having this problem?

My UIs have been destroyed around every 3rd patch (excluding POP release related patches, and server maintenance). Fun part is that i got them from a friend that use an EXACT same version of the files with no problems.

Solved my UI problem 3 times by getting a new copy from him.
