Even though it is FV I think this is a tad retarded. When are they going to give that jewelery its correct required level?

Very entertaining. He's missing a few slots of better twink loot actually.

I only use the rec lvl 68 stuff from DoD missions on my FV twinks. You level so fast anways you grow into it and for 100k a pop for rec lvl 1 stuff I can get a full set of gear. I mean everyone hits lvl 50 in under 20 hours soloing so its all gonna have the same stats as ToV quest gear by then anyways so I see no point in flaunting my lvl 1 e-peen.

There is such a thing as exaggerating too much :) The only way anyone can hit 50 in under 20 hours is with some hefty power levelling (or hacking).

Since this jewellery is all scripts-based (like all Charms, and BiC, etc), I think they'll just add in "recommended levels" and enable scaling fairly soon.

Actually I have done it a few times. You can self DS stack up to 65-70 range then just mass pull onto your self. Any class can do it. And I have done it with no outside help.

Yeah, you can definitely crank like that.

Self-DS to 65-70 how? The DS potions are level limited, and you also have to actually survive being beaten on - Temperance only goes so far.

I think the DS limit for gear is 15 at this point?

Then:

25 + 15 = 40, then:

roughly 60-ish.

That's just a guess, as I've usually had access to some kind of casted DS when I PLed.

5 charges on a ring that needs hm, Ally faction with Chardok, plus DS potions that can't be made anymore ? :)

God, I don't even wanna talk about what I spend when I re-rolled... lol

At 45, 6k is kinda weak tho tbh

Yup. I remember when having 4k at 65 was good, before I joined an EP+ guild.

You guys aren't remembering that this is FV. Faction optional.

EDIT: Well, in some places anyway.

Your forgetting Bone Chill Shield :P

With Gear, Skinspikes VI, Bone Chill shield, and Ro's Breath I was at I think 70 even.

I'm on FV, but levelling slowly with my wife. Even so, I tend to only buy stuff I'll be using long-term... so either 66+ recommended gear, (on the occasion it is actually good), or 65 required gear and up.

The 'no required/recommended' gear is often not nearly good enough to justify the insane cost of it, even for those of us who might take months to reach 60+. I opted to buy myself ok gear and fill out empty slots with quests and hot zones until I reach the higher levels. Even so, I'm pretty much overgeared for the content I do, as I stay away from the newer expansions (like TSS), except when questing.

I actually just bought some of the Dwerium stuff got 5 pieces and fully auged them out. Maybe spent 20-25k total to make each one 250/250 with 17 Sta/Int for my mage. So the price wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. The augs are cheap as hell the 100 mana/end are 40-50p each and the 100 HP are same price. Its the slot 11 thats the costly one at like 1k each. And paid 3k per unaugged item.
