When I try to load my UISkin '/loadskin crowen 1' the game indicates it can't locate the skin and then loads the default skin.

I have a folder in the UIFiles folder called Crowen just like it has always been. One thing I did notice is that if I go to the General tab under options that the 'Load UI' button only shows the default skin. I also discovered a new folder called skins which only contains the default folder.

Does anyone know what I need to do to get the skin I like to use to load? Maybe move my folder to this new 'skins' folder???

Thanks for any help you can provide.

PoP installs to the wrong folder. Make sure you don't have 2 EQ folders. Normally EQ would be located in:

progam filesEQ

But for some reason PoP installs in:

progam filesSonyEQ

If this is the case, then chances are you are playing out of the wrong EQ folder. Copy all of the files from progam filesSonyEQ into progam filesEQ and fix your shortcut to point to the right place.

Yeah, normally during a proper installation, it scans your registry for your game folder location and recommends that as the installation. For some reason, it doesn't. Even so, you should still know your Everquest directory and set it up right upon installation.

If I bothered to pay attention to the directory it listed I would of been fine. Silly me, I actually thought Verant would know where it has always defaulted Everquest in the past. Oops.

All is good now. Thanks for the help.
