Is there ANY custom monk ui out there that has been updated?



I would like to just download it, then run EQ. Me and file modifications don't do so well together.

-Download EugeeVert

-Unzip to EugeeVert folder in uifiles folder in EverQuest directory

-Load EugeeVert skin

I have tried that at least 10 times it wont work for me, it erases my first 3 hotkeys and thats it, any ideas?

1. Download the mod. If you don't know how, get a friend to do all of this for you.

2. Unzip the mod into EverQuestuifileseugeevert. If you don't know how, have a friend do this for you. You can change the folder name if you understand what this sentence means, otherwise, unzip it into eugeevert.

3. If you already have a eugeevert folder, make sure you overwrite the old files. If you don't know how to do that, delete the contents of the directory. You need to remove the old Friends.xml file from the folder, regardless.

4. Log in and type "/load eugeevert 1". The screen will freeze a moment, then load the new UI. You will very likely need to reposition your windows to looke nice. I leave the Alpha/Fade settings at 100/100 for all my windows, except for chat and pet info (the Super Punchout HP meter) which are at 50/100 making them see through, and even lighter if the mouse passes over them (like to loot or target).



If you still can't get it working, call a friend, you're doing something wrong.

ok, I made a new file in uifiles named eugeevert, downloaded zipped file into that file.



unzipped it.



logged on tried to load it and nothing. I had loaded a previous skin before this one and it worked, I didnt like it so delted the file.



I like the looks of this one but cannot make it work, grrrrr

Here's what I do when things get messed up in my uifiles.



1. delete all the files in the UIfiles folder.

2. run the patcher

3. unzip eugvert into a new folder in the UIfiles folder.

4. launch eq

5. /loadskin newui 1



works for me every time.
