Different characters, same mod setup

Don't know if this has been addressed in another thread (I'm lazy <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/tongue.gif ALT=":p"> ).



I got my mods and viewport all set up and nice for my main character. Is there any way to just copy some file or do something to use the same exact setup on my twinks, without having to setup the whole thing over and over again?



And how do I change the default fade setting to 100, or what ever I would want? It's kinda annoying to set that fade setting each window again and again. That fade is giving me headaches and grandmal seizures. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/sick.gif ALT=":x">

There is a file, UI_<char name>_<server num>.ini . Copy that and rename it for each of your chars. That should take care of most of your settings.



For default fades there is a setting in the option window under display for that. I'm not sure how well it works. At first it didn't seem to apply to containers but now I think it does.



Most of my chars are different enough that I have different settings for each of them. Melee doesn't need the same thing as casters, bards are different still. Even inside casters my mage and chanter have different setups...
