it is based off the vert UI that a lot of people used ot have, and now i am scrwed with nowhere to go <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=":(">

my old UI's aren't working really well either now. whenever i load it it says you need to update your XML files or some crap. last night I was randomly getting a blue screen than crash to desktop extremely often till I relogged and set it to default UI.

They changed the AA experience screen. Copy that one from the default dir. to your new one and all should be well. At least that is what did it for me.

You dont need all files in your personal skin file....
If you are downloading a new skin file and plan on making it a new skin, here's what you need to do. first of all leave the default folder alone, you should never need to touch this. Next create a new folder and name it whatever you want, lets say you name it off your character (in my case, Assid). Take the Assid folder and open it up. Copy all the UI files that you downloaded into Assid folder, it should be empty before you do this.
When you get into the game, typle /loadskin assid 1. Everything that hasnt been directly changed by one of the modded UI files in your "assid" folder will automatically be taken from the default folder instead, that way whenever they do weirdo updates to xml that they dont tell you about, like changing the AA xml screen, you will still automatically use whatever is in your default folder, which is automatically updated when there are new files to be downloaded
